Ingredients:

– 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

– 1 bunch of asparagus (trimmed)

– 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

– 2 tablespoons olive oil

– 1 teaspoon garlic powder

– 1 teaspoon paprika

– 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

– Salt and pepper to taste

– 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions:

๐Ÿ”น๏ธ2. With a sharp knife, create a pocket in each chicken breast, being careful not to cut all the way through.

๐Ÿ”น๏ธ3. Season both sides of the chicken breasts with garlic powder, paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.

๐Ÿ”น๏ธ4. Fill each chicken breast with 3-4 asparagus spears and approximately 1/4 cup of mozzarella cheese, then secure the opening with toothpicks.

๐Ÿ”น๏ธ5. In a large oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side until they are golden brown.

๐Ÿ”น๏ธ6. Move the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and reaches an internal temperature of 165ยฐF (75ยฐC).
